Gardens can be one of the biggest selling points of a property, so they should be in a really good condition when showing to potential buyers. Tidy away any rubbish, keep the grass cut and weeding taken care of. Putting out potted plants in patios and yards is a lovely touch. If you use a seasonal fertiliser this will add colour to a tired-looking lawn. Keep bushes cut back, especially if you have a smaller garden to maximise the impression of space.

 

 

Make the House a Pet-Free Zone

We all love our pets dearly and they are a big part of our home, but potential buyers may not be pet lovers. It’s best to ask a neighbour or friend to take care of them during a viewing, so a potential buyer is not distracted or deterred from spending time in your property.
