How to secure a property?

The application form must be filled out and signed by all relevant parties, together with a copy of your ID and once the application is accepted a holding deposit of one week's rent will be taken. This holding deposit is non-refundable should the tenants or guarantor provide a misleading statement that results in a failure of referencing or if the tenant does not complete the referencing in a timely fashion (within the 15days) Townsends will be entitled to retain the holding deposit for 15 days following receipt.

Identification & Right to Rent Check & References

Cancellation by the landlord or agent

Townsends and the landlord reserve the right to withdraw from any proposed tenancy prior to the signing of the tenancy agreement, and are under no obligation to inform the applicant of the reasons why. Any holding deposit paid by the tenant will be returned to the tenant, unless the reason the landlord or agent wish to withdraw from the tenancy is due to unsatisfactory / failed references due to false information given by the applicants during the application and referencing process.
